Membership

Ordinary membership shall be open to all Malaysian citizens who are actively involved or have been involved in the field of parasitology and tropical medicine, whose names have been proposed and seconded by two existing members. New membership application is subjects to the Council for approval.

Membership Subscription Fees:

Entry Fee: RM20/-

Annual subscription: RM50/-

Membership expires on 31 Dec annually

Associate membership shall be open to non-Malaysians. Such members shall not have powers to vote and cannot hold office in the Council and cannot become life members.

New membership application is subjects to the Council for approval.

Annual subscription: RM200/-

Membership expires on 31 Dec annually

Life membership shall be open to any ordinary member of the Society who has subscribed for at least 5 years continuously.

Membership Subscription Fees:

RM1,000/-

At any one time three people can be nominated to be honorary members of the Society. These people are chosen based on their valuable contributions and outstanding services to the advancement of medical and science in general and to the society in particular.
